On July 13, representatives of Human Rights House Tbilisi held a round table about the residence issues of the repatriate Meskhs. Human Rights House Tbilisi provides a legal assistance to Junus Aripov and Dilara Aripova, whose claim for the residence, submitted to the court by the human rights’ defenders, was not upheld.
Human Rights Summer School has ended

On July 7, in the conference hall of the National Library, Human Rights Center held a public discussion – “Literature for Trust Building”. Before the discussion, there was a presentation of collected stories by Georgian, Ossetian and Abkhazian writers. Also there was a screening of the movie about Pen Marathon in Istanbul.
23-year-old Turpal Borhasvhili - the 12th killed from Pankisi in Syria Information Center of Kakheti

Another citizen of Georgia, 23-year-old Turpal Borchashvili from Pankisi gorge, who lived in village Dzibakhevi, died during hostilities in city of Kobani, Syria. Turpal Borchashvili was fighting on the side of so-called Islamic State. Six months ago, he went from Georgia to Turkey and then moved to Syria. Family members of Turpal Borchashvili confirmed his death to Information Center of Kakheti.
