Ongoing political processes in Georgia have reached active pre-election phase. Many advertisements of political subjects appeared in media. The video clips produced by the non-governmental organization Georgia Not for Sale immediately attracted public attention in the ongoing pre-election advertising battles. The purpose of those video clips is to form public opinion against Bidzina Ivanishvili-the leader of the coalition Georgian Dream.
District Administrations transported people to the assembly of the National Movement in Batumi

On September 8, teachers and pupils, pensioners alongside with administrative resource of the districts of Adjara Autonomous Republic were brought to the National Movement’s assembly in Batumi by mini-buses. The district administrations covered travel expenses. However, they had not announced bid for transport service.

On September 7, nongovernmental organizations held protest rally in the yard of the Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. They requested to liberate TSU from political oppression. NGO representatives stated that qualified professors are fired from the university on political grounds and it seriously damages the reputation of the state university.

In the evening of September 9, strangers physically assaulted young Kists, who had come from Pankisi Valley, after the Georgian Dream’s assembly finished in Telavi. As a result of incident, Khizir Kushanashvili, 25 and Angel Borchasvili 22, got injured.
