Pre-election Campaign in Working Hours or Reporting to the Heads of Residential Buildings?!
Chairman of Rustavi City Council Kakha Gurgenidze was member of the former ruling political party. For the past two weeks, almost every day, he meets heads of residential buildings in Rustavi during working hours. The meetings are organized by the non-profit illegal entity Rustavi Korpusi. The entity is funded from the local budget and tries to resolve problems of residential buildings in Rustavi.
Family of the Late Juvenile Prisoner Declines Suicide Version
An investigation was launched into the death fact of the juvenile prisoner in Kutaisi Prison #2. According to the preliminary information, Giorgi Dzvelaia, 16, committed suicide. Minister of Corrections and Legal Aid of Georgia Sozar Subari made statement about the accident during his visit in the custody several hours later.
Trial on Merabishvili to Be Resumed on October 17

Passport Turmoil in Akhalgori
Representatives of the Akhalgori district passport unit at the de-facto militia office in South Ossetia request applicants for the Ossetian passports to provide notification on declining Georgian citizenship from the Ministry of Justice. This request hindered process of issuing Ossetian passports in Akhalgori that was quite intensive process for the past few months.

Akhalaia States Office of Prosecutor Is Dragging Out the Trial
Prosecutor Ia Darjania motioned for self-recusal at the trial involving prison riot case. She stated that she felt “psychological pressure” and therefore cannot be unbiased. Judge Lasha Chkhikvadze satisfied the motion, but stated that these actions are intended for dragging out the trial.

Data Cards to Be Distributed for Voters in Gori

Forensic expert was questioned at the trial on the former head of military police Megis Kardava and other accused in the same case. The expert said the deceased officer Sergo Tetradze had trauma on the head and broken nose that could cause his death. 
New Regulations and Old Rules in Akhalgori
A passenger cannot take more than 50 kg of luggage to Akhalgori. Only those, who supply shops with food products in Akhalgori district, are allowed to take large amount of luggage across the de-facto border of the non-recognized South Ossetia. Consequently, this restriction does not apply only to food products. The new regulation went in force a short time ago.
