A Center for Disabled People Will Be Established

December 4, 2007
In January of 2008, the Public Defender’s Office starts a new program to establish a center for disabled people.

Sozar Subari, the Public Defender, stated that the principal goal of their activities is to resolve the problems of disabled people. There are no suitable conditions for them in Georgia and the state should be more active. The principal priority for me and our office is to grant all citizens of our country with equal chances to express and develop themselves. Both the society and the government are not very welcoming towards the disabled. Thus, we aim to change this environment for them,” said the Public Defender.
