Future of Georgia Will Be Decided Today

January 5, 2008
Presidential candidate Mikheil Saakashvili visited polling station # 19 in Mtatsminda Precinct Election Commission in Tbilisi to vote.

Presidential candidate from the National Movement visited the station together with his wife, Sandra Elisabeth Roulovs and his sons, Edward and Nikoloz. Saakashvili said that every citizen of Georgia is responsible for the future of our country. If everybody is active, Georgia will not face any problems.

“Future generations will thank you that today despite bad weather you did not stay at home. Today we are deciding whether Georgia will overcome difficulties or not. It is not time to hesitate. Now we need cooperation and activity,” said Mikheil Saakashvili.

The former president added that Georgians living on the other side of the Enguri River are hopeful about future Georgia. Thus, we, people living on this side of the river should be very active in order to support our brothers.
