Giorgi Gugava: Government Uses Carousels to Assist Saakashvili to Occupy President’s Position Again

January 5, 2008
Giorgi Gugava, the head of Shalva Natelashvili’s election headquarter, reported that public officials use mini-buses of all itineraries in the capital for carousels.

Gugava defined that mini-buses are transporting activists of National Movement to vote at various polling stations.

“I call upon international organization to prevent similar illegality; otherwise unpredicted events might occur. I call upon the drivers of mini-buses not to obey the governmental officials and not to take part in the devil’s carousel that will support Saakashvili to gain president’s position again,” said Gugava.

The member of the Labor Party added that above-mentioned fact proves that government is falsifying the elections.
