January 21, 2008
United Opposition demands to appoint unbiased people without political background on the position of the chairpersons of Georgian Central Election Commission and Chamber of Control.

Member of Republic Party, Tina Khidasheli announced in her conversation with the Medianews that they have officially submitted this demand to Parliament.

She also added that above-mentioned positions should be most unbiased after Public Defender and people without political backgrounds must be nominated to the positions who will not become slaves of the government.

"It is impossible that people holding those positions served any political party", stated Tina Khidasheli
