TV Company “Maestro” Blames Court for Biasness

April 24, 2008
Today, Young Lawyers Association (GYLA) and Mamuka Ghlonti, the director of TV “Maestro” told that the TV Company had appealed to the National Communication Regulation Commission in December of 2007 to change the license of the TV Station. However, the National Commission did not envisage that they would appeal the decision and consequently, the TV Comp has applied to the court but court failed to satisfy their suit.

Giorgi Chkheidze, the chairperson of the GYLA stated that the Communication Regulation National Commission breached the deadline for discussing the license issue of the company because it was to be discussed within 30 days, which was not actually done as stipulated under the rules.

GYLA will do their best to make the court satisfy the suit of the TV Company and the problem must be resolved in the nearest future.

TV Company “Maestro” has already appealed to the court because the National Commission refused to provide the requested changes in the license.
