Kaspi District Governor Refuses Man’s Problems Caused by Drainage System

June 13, 2008

Zaza Seturidze, an inhabitant of Engelsi Street, Kaspi City complains that the city administration refuses give appropriate attention to his problem. He says that his house has been destroyed by the bad drainage system. The drainage system is not very well constructed and the water backup up into his house.

Seturidze asked the city government for help many times but all his requests have been in vain. Kakha Khachirashvili, Kaspi District Governor had been refusing to help him until journalists found out about Seturdize’s problem and brought it to public attention. Only when journalists interfered the local government gave Seturidze, 500 GEL and one tone of cement. However this amount is still inadequate to solve Seturdize’s problem.
