Humanitarian Aid Is Not Provided in Gori Anymore

On August 25 the humanitarian aid service centers were closed in Gori when the IDPs returned to their homes from Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia.

Gori population is discontent regarding the situation because they had managed to get tickets for the aid only on August 24 after a long-time standing in the queue.

Local government states that Gori population will not received the aid any more. The local officials explain that shops have already been opened in Gori; people can get pensions and it is not necessary to distribute humanitarian aid among Gori population.
