Family of the Deceased Accuse Sighnaghi Patrol Police of Negligence

The family members of Ushangi Jibghashili, who was ruthlessly murdered several days ago in Sakobo village, Sighnaghi District accuse the Sighnaghi Patrol Police of negligence in carrying out their responsibilities. 

Nino Jibghashili, the daughter of the deceased considers that her 76-year-old father was killed during a burglary. “My father had many times been burglarized. He informed the police every time. However, no one from the police ever expressed any interest in the cases.”

We contacted the Sighnaghi District Police administration. They refused to comment on this case.

Ushangi Jibghashvili, professor and agriculture specialist was tortured and then killed in his own house on October 17, 2008.
