Pupil Detained for Smoking “Marihuana” at School

According to distributed nformation, Davit Chanturidze, inspector-investigator for the Gurhaani police department, detained G. G. a pupil of the Public School in the village of Gurjaani in the Gurjaani district for having smoked marihuana in school yard.

Laboratory examination of the detainee concluded that he was under influence of marihuana. Lia Otarashvili, judge of the Gurjaani district court, found the juvenile guilty for administrative crime and a fined with 500 GEL was imposed.

According to the rumor those undergraduate attending this school are considered to regular drug users, which is also supported by the statements of the teachers.
