Population’s Negative Viewpoint to the Appointment of Village Representative on Term of Council Office

The bill, presented to the parliament caused a negative response of the population. The denoted bill defines the functions of village representative. The bill also envisages their appointment on term of district council office.

The Information Center of Kakheti questioned up to 50 citizens, all of which gave an absolutely negative evaluation to the work of village representatives. According to them, working of the attorneys, appointed on their positions on the term of one year, is not efficient and the increase of their terms will cause even much more deterioration of the existed situation in the villages.
