Georgian Citizens from Jehovah’s Witnesses Were Deported from Azerbaijan

Georgian citizens, who popularized religious direction “Jehovah’s Witnesses”, were detained in Balakan region of Azerbaijan, www.apa.az Shaki-Zagathala bureau reports.

Davit Bekashvili, 32 and Mamuka Subuashvili, 30 both residents of Lagodekhi district, Georgia were detained by officers from Balakan Region Police Department. Police found 171 copies of three books about Jehovah’s Witnesses published in Germany on them.

The detained people were deported from Azerbaijan to Georgia.
