Russian Media Sources Reported Russian Company Will Become Owner of “Borjomi”

Russian newspaper “Izvestia” reported that Russian Company “Vim-Bil-Dan” will receive 25-year-license on producing Georgian mineral water “Borjomi”.

According to the newspaper, tender announced by the Ministry of Economical Development of Georgia on producing “Borjomi” will be an ordinary formality and “Vim-Bil-Dan” will receive the license by all means.

The Ministry of Economical Development reported that the tender will be held closed from public and applicant companies shall not be announced.

According to the Ministry, the number of the participant companies will be announced on March 19 but their names will remain confidential.

The starting price of the license on producing “Borjomi” is 8 million USD.
