Subscribers Visiting “Kakheti Energy Distribution” Office Are Kicked Out

March 27, 2009

JSC “Kakheti Energy Distribution Company”, that is run by Lithuanian Company “Akhema Group” since January 15, 2009, still continues to extort money from subscribers. Despite many complaints of people, neither the Georgian National Energy Regulatory Commission, nor the Energy Ombudsman, nor the Investigative Department of the Department of Revenues nor the government are concerned about the violation.

“They make us pay according to communal electricity meters where several families are adjusted. So, we have to pay more than we have spent; besides that they compel us to pay more sums; or they threaten to cut off the electricity. We called the Kakheti Energy Distribution Company but nobody replied. When we visit their office, employees cursed and kicked us out,” complained subscribers.
