Seizure of Property from Kibar Khalvashi

Today, Tbilisi City Court will seize the property of Kibar Khalvashi, the closest friend of former defense minister of Georgia, Irakli Okruashvili and former owner of the TV Company “Rustavi2”. Although before fleeing abroad Khalvashi owned three companies in Georgia –“Art Group”, “Priza” and Building”, the court will seize only “Art Group” and “Priza”. Nevertheless, Khalvashi, as it was reported to the “factnews” by a reliable source, is not going to put up with the seizure of his property and will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. Today, activists of Irakli Okruashvili’s party will hold protest demonstration in front of the civil court.
