An iron bolt has been installed on the gate to the building of the Parliament

April 1, 2009

An iron bolt has been installed on the gate to the building of the Parliament. The bolt fixes the entire door. The windows are barred on the ground floor. It was reported that, the windows were replaced in the building and that  bullet-proof glass was installed in the windows instead of old ordinary glasses. Evidently, the government is getting ready for the protest demonstration on April 9. They very well remember recent history of our country when the building of Parliament was badly damaged during the civil war in Tbilisi in the1990s. In doing so, the building will be protected from the demonstrators who might rush into the Parliament.
