The Human Rights Center Published Annual Report

April 9, 2009

Non-governmental organization “Human Rights Center” has published its next annual report. The report discusses all human rights violations in Georgia that were reliably reported to the Human Rights Center in 2008.  The report focuses particular attention on the parliamentary elections of May 21 and the violation of the rights of internally displaced persons. The report exposes the facts of the restriction of the freedom of the Georgian media, persecution on political grounds and uninvestigated war crimes.

The annual report of the Human Rights Center provides recommendations to international governmental and non-governmental organizations and conclusions in regard to the human rights situation in Georgia
