Giorgi Darchia Blames Strangers for Beating Him on Political Grounds

April 11, 2009

One more demonstrator blames strangers for having beaten him. Giorgi Darchia reported to the Interpressnews that strangers stopped a taxi in which he was riding in Perovskaia Street in Tbilisi. He was traveling to the parliament building.

“Strangers demanded that I tell to which party I was a member. However, I told them I did not represent any political party and was an ordinary demonstrator. Anyway, they kept on demanding the same from me but since they failed to make me admit membership, they beat me,” said Giorgi Darchia who takes part in demonstrations in front of the parliament building.
