Strangers Destroyed the Stage and Apparatus In Front of the Parliament

April 13, 2009

Several minutes ago strangers destroyed the stage and the apparatus installed in front of the parliament building. They were dressed in the uniforms of the Cleaning Service of the City Hall. Lasha Chkhartishvili,  a member of the Conservative Party, stated that Davit Kodua, brother of Erekle Kodua, the head of the Special Operative Department, was standing nearby.

During the destruction the demonstration was not going on and only several people were in front of the parliament. Three of them are injured.

Almost every opposition leader is in front of the parliament building. They have not yet commented on the incident.
