Levan Mikeladze’s House was Attacked

April 21, 2009

Last night a stranger rushed into the flat of Levan Mikeladze, a member of the Alliance for Georgia and a former Georgian ambassador in the USA and Switzerland.

The only person present in the house on Tsabadze Street 9, near the Dynamo Stadium, was the housekeeper. Levan Mikeladze himself is in the USA presently.

According to our sources, the stranger assaulted the lady and demanded money.

Members of the Alliance for Georgia and leaders of other opposition parties visited the place.

According to Irakli Alasania, after all these attacks on demonstrators this case looks rather suspicious. “Though I do not want to jump to any conclusions before any investigation”, - Alasania said.

According to David Berdzenishvili, the more an investigation will be procrastinated the more suspicious the government will seem.

According to the robbery article, this case will be investigated by the Didube-Chughureti region police.
