Patrol Police Fined Representatives of the Public Defender

Patrol police fined representatives of the Batumi office of the Public Defender of Georgia for no reason. Today, part of activists from opposition parties was traveling to Tbilisi. The representatives of the Public Defender’s Batumi office were accompanying them. The patrol police fined them with 100 GEL.

‘We saw some cars from our delegation were stopped by the patrol police. We drove towards them to find out what was going on. Patrol police fined us for high speed, “said Giorgi Charkviani, representative of Public Defender to Batumi.

According to Charkviani, patrol police fined two other drivers.
