The Opposition Accuses the Government for Oppressing Businessman Khibar Khalvashi

The opposition blames the government for their attempt to oppress the relatives and friends of the businessman Khibar Khalvashi. As “Pirveli” was informed by the press service of the Movement for the United Georgia, friends and relatives of Kibar Khalvashi were called and threatened. Representatives of the party say that the owner of the telephone number 891 16 48 95 is a high-ranking police officer from Adjara Autonomous Republic. The relatives and friends of Kibar Khalvashi were threatened not to take part in the protest demonstrations. In addition, according to the party members, members of the Batumi branch of the Movement for United Georgia were oppressed as well.
