The Incident Happened between the Demonstrators and the Patrol Police at the Cells in front of the Television Building

The incident happened between the demonstrators and the patrol police at the cells in front of the television.

The demonstrators told the Interpressnews, the patrol police ran after Melor Vachnadze several minutes ago. He hid in the cells near the television. After this 7-8 patrol police cars gathered near the cells.

The demonstrators said that the patrol policemen acted defiantly and they wanted to provocate the demonstrators. One of the policemen even shot in the air. The demonstrators are looking for the cartridge-case of the shot bullet at this moment, but in vain.

“Finally, we explained them that there was no need of tension and after this they went away”, -stated the demonstrators. Irakli Alasania, leader of Alliance for Georgia, was at the television building and he already left the place.

Dachi Tsaguria stated to the Interpressnews about the mentioned incident that Melor Vachnadze, Giorgi Oniani and Revaz Revazishvili were in the TV program Sakani (Cell). After this they were going home separately when Melor Vachnadze was attacked by the masked people who were sitting in the jeep and by the representatives of the patrol police. They were trying to drag him out of the car by threatening him.

Dachi Tsaguria said that Melor Vachnadze managed to escape and he hid in the cells at the TV building in spite of that the attackers began shooting. Tsagria claimed that the attackers shot near the cells. After this they went away.

At this time the situation is calm.
