Protest Demonstration in front of the Tbilisi City Hall Ended with Incident

Protest demonstration and picketing of the Tbilisi City Hall has finished. Shartava Street was blocked by the supporters of the opposition parties for two hours but now it is open.

Demonstrators wrote slogans on the building of the City Hall after the demonstration: “Serve People”, “Shame on You,” Ugulava, Go Home,” “You will Be Punished”. Representatives of the youth branch of opposition parties threw eggs at the building of the City Hall.

At the end of the demonstration Mamuka Katsitadze, opposition leader, stated that their spontaneous attacks on various governmental institutions will continue in future as well. Opposition leaders will inform the society about their plans for tomorrow at 6:00 pm.
