Clash before Concert

At 9:00 pm in front of the parliament building incident occurred before the planned concert of “Utsnobi” started. Suddenly, several tens of masked people armed with wooden truncheons appeared from the side of hotel “Tbilisi Marriot.” They marched in front of the parliament and approaching the Cinema “Rustaveli” attacked the people who were waiting for the concert. The attackers started to dismantle cells. They beat people with truncheons and threw stones at them. The clash moved to the Purtseladze Street from the Rustaveli Avenue. Several tens of people were injured. Ambulances arrived at the Avenue and took people to hospitals. The attackers tried to seize the camera from the camera-man of the ITV.ge as well.
