Clash between Rally Participants and Camera-man of Rustavi 2

The clash occurred between rally participants and the camera-man of TV Company Rustavi 2. When filming the incident, rally participants ran to the operator claiming he was not shooting the injured rally participants. The incident grew into the clash.

As according to the camera-man he was fulfilling his professional duty and was recording the incident and stated that rally participants insulted him without any reasons.

Moreover, the operator of the TV Company “Maestro” was physically assaulted. As the eyewitnesses noted the one who beat the camera-man from Maestro was veteran of the Abkhazian war and has mental problems.

On Rustaveli Avenue, on Purtseladze Street, clash occurred between rally participants and people in masks.

Several rally participants were injured. People in masks were equipped with truncheons; however, they were in civil clothes.
