May 29, 2009

Last Night, incident occurred between the security policemen and supporters of the opposition parties in Zugdidi.

Kakha Mikaia, representative of the United Opposition, said that activists were pasting posters “Stop It” on the walls in the territory of agricultural market in Zugdidi; the caricature of Mikheil Saakashvili was painted on the poster. The security policemen did not allow them to paste posters and later they tore those posters that were already on the walls.  Opposition supporters called patrol police and requested for help.
