Personnel of Medical Center for Burns Have Not Received Salaries for 7 Months

June 10, 2009

According to the Trade Union of Doctors, the personnel of the Center for Burns and Restorative Surgery have not received their salaries for 7 months.

The Trade Union requests the society to pay attention to this fact that it is the Center where 4-year-old Ina Tsarelashvili is taking medical treatment in the Intensive Therapy according to the order of President Saakashvili. (The little girl was burnt but because of religious beliefs of her parents the doctors could not transfuse blood though it was urgently necessary).

“There are many problems about salaries in the clinic; the government should compensate the daily work of the medical personnel of the center,” said the representatives of the Trade Union.
