Criminal Case Should Be Launched On the Chairperson of Telavi Municipality Board

Members of the Kakheti organization of the Conservative Party require launching criminal investigation on Levan Akhalauri, chairperson of Telavi Municipality Board.

Giorgi Dalakishvili, representative of the Conservatives, stated that journalistic investigation exposed that Levan Akhalauri during his working as a head of Agricultural Department abused his power and caused damage of 305 thousand GEL to the state budget.

“Although Kakheti regional prosecutor’s office started investigation on the fact, they dropped it soon. The crime is obvious and offenders shall be punished for it. Kakheti regional prosecutor protects Akhalauri. I think, they have made some deal but anyway we categorically demand to launch the investigation,” said Giorgi Dalakishvili.
