June 23, 2009

Youth movement of the Conservative Party blames the government for over-phone blackmailing. Lado Bulbulashvili, leader of the youth branch of the party stated at the press-conference today that members of the youth movement have been terrorized on the phone during recent 9-10 days.

More precisely, Bulbulashvili reported that certain Dato Gabunia suggests them to quit opposition activities and threatens with imprisonment unless they stop the struggle against the government like it happened with their colleagues.

Bulbulashvili said he was called from the mobile number: 858 30 56 77.

“It is a performance staged by the government which aims to psychologically oppress the activists of the opposition parties,” said Lado Bulbulashvili.

The youth movement appeals to the international organizations and diplomatic corps to request the government of Georgia to stop oppression on political opponents.
