One More Bug Was Discovered in Isani District Office of the Alliance for Georgia

June 30, 2009

Bugs were found in the office of “Alliance for Georgia” located in Ketevan Tsamebuli Street N 63, Tbilisi.

The personnel of the office decided to check their office after the information about bugs discovered in the offices of Conservative Party and Sakartvelos Gza was spread.

The apparatus was discovered in the plug located in the room of the chairperson of the organization; meetings are held in this room.

Mamuka Katsitadze, leader of the Alliance for Georgia from the New Rights, arrived at the place immediately. He said every office is being checked after the information on bugs was spread.

“Yesterday, the head office of the New Rights was checked and we could not find anything. Unlike branch-offices the head office is protected; signalization is installed and it is not easy to get into the building. I am seriously concerned about my house and am going to check it too. I am sure our government can even install listening apparatus in the houses as well. I think it is good lustration of the democracy of our government; it is crime and we demand to investigate these facts,” said Katsitadze.

Katsitadze called patrol police in the Isani office of their alliance and they arrived in the place ten minutes later.

Law enforcers prepared a protocol on the place.
