The Members of Democratic League Held Protest at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The students and young people from Democratic League which is the part of movement Daitsavi Sakartvelo (Protect Georgia) held protest action Youngsters against Torture at the former office of MIA.

The youngsters announced the names and exhibited the photos of the people that were tortured by the law enforcers in 2004-2009. Khatuna Shiukashvili, the chairperson of the League told news agency Interpressnews that they protested against beating and torture of youngsters and called upon the law enforcers to refrain from these activities (torture, beating).
The protesters had the posters with signs “Do not Torture”, “Step away from Violence” and so on.
