According to the Human Development Georgia Occupies 89th Place in the World

According to the UN, Georgia is on the 89th place in accordance to the human development.

The report of the human development index in 2007 was prepared by the UNDP was published on the official website of organization.

The account is divided in four parts: “Very high level of development”, where Norway is on the first place and it contains almost all European countries, also USA and Canada.

High Level of Development contains Baltic Countries, some European and Asian countries too.
Georgia is in average developed countries. Armenia opens the mentioned part, which according to the account is on 84 place with its Human Development Index, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Thailand and Iran followed it and Georgia is on 89 place.

The fourth part of the account is Low Development Countries, which is opened by Togo,159 place. This part contains the majority of the countries of Africa and Nigeria ends the list ,182 place.

According to the statement which is published on the official website of UNs, this account was prepared by the three criterions and it shows the average index of people’s life in different countries. These criterions are: long and healthy life (country’s ability to guarantee the citizen with the organized health system); availability of the education (country’s ability to educate citizens equally); worthy level of life (the living wage is calculated according to the USD).
