Iranian Scientist Was Arrested in Georgia

Based on the Iranian media sources News Agency “Mig News” spread information about the detention of scientist from Iran working in the field of nuclear science. His name is Ardebil and visited Georgia as a businessman. According to the spread information Georgian side deported the scientist to the USA.

News Agency “News.ru” spread the same information based on the London based Iranian newspaper “Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat ”.

The spread information does not mention the exact date of detention. It must be noted that main topic of Iranian media sources is disappearance of one more scientist Shakhram Amir working on nuclear science as well. Employee of the Tehran Malek Ashtar University Amir went to Arabia and disappeared.

According to the spread information, during the meeting with Ban Ki Moon, secretary general of the UN, foreign minister of Iran Manucher Motak blamed the US in kidnapping of Amir.

In reply to the accusation the official representative of the US State Department Ian Kelly stated that the US had no information about the incident.
