Court Ordered Former School Director to Apologize to Journalist for Insulting

Judge Shalva Mchedlishvili at Gurjaani district court ordered Marine Utiashvili, former director of the public school in Gurjaani village to apologize to journalist Gela Mtivlishvili on media sources for having insulting him.

Journalist appealed to the court in July of 2008. The suitor protested spreading of degrading and insulting information about him on News Agency Interpressnews and other media sources. More precisely, the former school director blamed him in bribing her, slander, hindering the schooling process and insulting teachers. Marine Utiashvili could not prove any of the abovementioned accusations for what court ordered her to apologize to Gela Mtivlishvili on the same media sources.
