Sighnaghi District Agency for Social Subsidies Is Accused to Give Baby for Adoption Illegally

The Kakheti Region Office of the non-governmental organization Human Rights Centre accuses Signahgi district Agency for Social Subsidies for giving a 3-year-old child for adoption.

The Human Rights Centre was reported that a girl lives in the family in one of the village of Sighnagi District now without social status and corresponding court resolution on adoption of a child. According to the spread information, the family where the girl lives now paid certain amount of money.

Zurab Zurabashvili, the head of the Social Agency, refused to make a comment on this issue.

The Human Rights Centre applied to Sighnaghi district Prosecutor‘s Office to study the fact.
