Journalist of “Reality TV” Requested Subari to Prove He Is Orthodox

December 10, 2009
TV-company “Reality TV” requested former Public Defender to prove he is orthodox. Incident happened in the office of “Alliance for Georgia”.

After press conference, “Reality TV” reminded Sozar Subari about the statement of “National Democrats” and friendship between him and Jehovah witnesses; after former Ombudsman claimed he was orthodox, journalist asked him to prove it; Svani blood (mountainous region o Georgia) flew in Subari more actively and he got astonished.

Former Public Defender told journalist to switch off the camera, pushed him into the next room and showed his cross to him.

“Is not IT a cross?” repeated Subari several times. Some argument started. Part of people witnessing this incident burst out laughing and others got surprised by the bravery of the journalist.

“What does it look like? How can you behave like that,” the spokesperson tried to defense Subari.

“Reality TV will make perfect TV-reportage - former Public Defender intimidated journalist” journalists started joking.

Subari calmed down and continued to give comments generously.
