Traders of the Destroyed Market Do Not Leave Ruins

December 23, 2009
Officials of Ozurgeti district administration with the support of law enforcement officers deconstructed the agricultural market in Ozrugeti. The territory is completely clean from close and open counters.

About 200 traders still continue their activities in the ruins of the agricultural market.

Head of Supervision Office of the Ozurgeti municipality board Zaza Goguadze said the market belongs to local government and they can do whatever they want on its place.

365 traders filed suit against the local government at Ozurgeti district court on November 24. The court has not discussed the suit yet. However, local government did not wait for the judgment.
