Candidate from Tortladze’s Party Called Vakhtang Komakhidze a Traitor

March 1, 2010

Levan Cholokashvili, single mandate candidate from Gurjaani district for the upcoming local self-governmental elections, called investigative journalist Vakhtang Komakhidze a traitor. Cholokashvili wrote about it on online social network Facebook and blamed Komakhidze in being a spy of FSB.

“Let’s us create a reservation for traitors and settle all traitors there. We should appoint direct flights from reservation to Moscow and they will fly to and back. Of course, they should not have any contacts with Georgia at all. Sturua will stage performances there; Pavliashvili will sing, Komakhidze will make documentary movies, Nogaideli, Burjanadze, Dzidziguri, Kukava, Davitashvili and their allies will organize primaries and democratic elections of the president in reservation, etc. the most important point is that they will fight each other soon,” said Levan Cholokashvili.

Gia Tortladze’s party Democratic Georgia nominated Levan Cholokashvili to be their single mandate candidate in Gurjaani on February 27.

Head of Studio “Reporter” Vakho Komakhidze requested political asylum from Swiss Government several days ago. Journalist said his professional activities are restricted in Georgia and his family members and he are in danger. Vakho Komakhidze is in refugee asylum in Geneva now.
