Doku Umarov Claimed Responsibility for Moscow Terrorist Acts

April 1, 2010

The leader of the “Caucasus Emirate” Doku Umarov took responsibility for the March 29 Moscow suicide explosions. A radio recording of his appeal was released on the internet several hours ago.

Doku Umarov described suicide explosions in Moscow underground stations as a special operation carried out under his order. He also says that these suicide explosions will not be the last.

“These special operations are connected with the special operation carried out by the band formations of “FSB” in the villages of Arshti and Datikhshi on February 11, 2010 where peaceful civilizes were killed. They were the poorest people. They were killed ruthlessly and the harassers insulted the dead”, stated Doku Umarovi.

According to him, he laughs at the politicians, journalists and citizens who accuse him in terrorism. “I have not heard someone blame Putin in terrorism and kill peaceful civilians, which were killed by his order on February, 11” said Duku Umarov.

He appeals to all Russian people who calmly watch killing of peaceful civilians on TV and radio and do not react on illegal activities of Russian FSB.

“That’s why I promise all Russian people that this operation will continue on their territory. War will come to your streets and you will feel it with your own lives and skin,” stated Doku Omarov.

Explosion in the metro stations of Moscow “Lublianka” and “Cultural Park” happened on March 29, from 07:50am to 08:32 am. 39 people were killed and 85 were injured as a result of the explosions. The accident was described as a suicide explosion.
