HQ of the National Movement Works In the Room of the Election Commission

In the village of Duisi in Akhmeta district the members of the election HQ of the National Movement work in the room of the election commission in the polling station # 5 in Duisi. The Kakheti regional coordinator of the Human Rights Center Gela Mtivlishvili reported that the chairwoman of the election commission Liana Margoshvili heads the meetings of the HQ members.

The representatives of the Kakheti office of the Human Rights Center clarified that the pre-election meetings of the activists from the National Movement are held in the office of the election commission. The commission members from the opposition parties confirmed the information.

Interim Akhmeta district governor Vazha Naskidashvili stated that commissary of the Duisi territorial entity Merab Kavtarashvili is on holiday. “I am not responsible for action of the people who are on holiday,” said Naskidashvili.

Chairman of the Akhmeta district election commission Mindia Iokuridze said that he will study the provided information and if it is confirmed, he will respond to it properly.

The Duisi polling station # 5 is in the former building of the village administration.
