High-Ranking Officials of the CSD and Tax Department Also Participate in the Pre-Election Campaign

Non-governmental organization Human Rights Center protests participation of the employees of the Constitutional Security Department of the MIA and Tax Department, as well as of other public servants in the pre-election campaign.
The lawyer of the Kakheti office of the Human Rights Center Lia Khuoshvili said, on May 10-11, during working hours, the head of the administration service of the Telavi regional center of the Tax Department Irakli Ujirauli, commissary of the Zemo Alvani village Davit Kaadze, officer of the CSD in Akhmeta District Levan Tsadzikidze, chief specialist of the administration of the Tusheti region reserved territories Mikheil Iukuridze, representative of the Kakheti regional department of the State Property Registration and Privatization in Akhmeta district Giorgi Tsiskarishviloi were in the election HQ of the ruling party in the village of Zemo Alvani.
The lawyer of the human rights organization Lia Khuroshvili said the public servants, who are not on holiday, shall not participate in the pre-election campaign in accordance to the Election Code. Furthermore, the law enforcement officers shall not participate in the pre-election activities at all.
