Sagarejo District Election Commission Did Not Satisfy Any Complaints of the Human Rights Center

June 1, 2010
The Sagarejo district election commission did not satisfy any complaints filed by the Human Rights Center. The organization provided the commission with the video-materials to prove the violations of the election procedures; however, the commission was not interested in the video-recording.

The observers of the Human Rights Center monitored the elections in the polling stations of the village of Iormughanlo in Sagarejo district. They said one person voted in various PS several times; the voters were not marked; people received ballot papers instead other people and voted with the IDs of their family members, etc.

The Human Rights Center will hold a press-conference regarding the violations at 3:00 pm on June 1.
