Journalists Will Hold Demonstration In Support of TV-25 in front of the Parliament

On Wednesday, 21 October, at 1:00 pm journalists working in the regions of Georgia will gather in front of the parliament of Georgia to support the Adjara based TV Company TV-25.

The journalists request to discharge TV-25 from the debts that were imposed on it during Aslan Abashidze’s governance in the autonomous republic of Adjara. The owners of the TV-company had their property seized by that time.

On the same day, journalists will organize rallies in support of TV-25 in Lil, France too; later journalists will gather during the European Summit in Brussels on October 29. Foreign journalists will carry the badges with the logo of TV-25 during their professional activities, meetings and press-conferences.

The journalists of the Human Rights Center will also join the demonstration.
