www.ick.ge will be conducting photo and video reportages on human rights

August 9, 2010
Kakheti information center started the implementation of a new project that covers the preparation of photo and video reportages on the human rights issues. The project is supported by the US Embassy.

“The aim of the project is to let those people speak who can’t do it for certain reasons; journalists will gather the unique photo and video material regarding the facts of human rights violations in the regions. The internet magazine www.ick.ge

will cover about 300 violations of human rights every year. We’ll pay special attention to those places, where there are no non-governmental organizations or journalists working,” – noted project coordinator Gela Mtivlishvili.

Kakheti Information Center is an independent media-organization that works in one of the biggest regions of Georgia – Kakheti. Kakheti Information Center abides by the principles of journalistic ethics charter and international norms.
Kakheti Information Center, with the help of the fund “Open Society – Georgia,” has been publishing the first regional internet-journal www.ick.ge since 2009.
