154 complaints regarding dismissed teachers submitted to the Human Rights Center Kakheti Office

August 13, 2010
154 complaints regarding the dismissal of teachers from the public schools have been submitted to Human Rights Center Kakheti Office.

“The teachers dismissed from the public school are asking to get their jobs back. Besides, many emphasize on the criminal deeds of school principals, corruption, bribe taking and other facts in their complaints. The dismissal of teachers is absolutely groundless. The commands of the principals don’t satisfy the requirements of the General Administrative Code of Georgia, so they should be abolished,” – Human Rights Center noted.

For the last one week, the teachers have been massively dismissed from Kakheti public school. According to Kakheti Information Center, for now, 20 teachers from Kardenakhi public school, 19 from Bodbe public school, 16 from Anagi public schoo, 12 from Gurjaani public school have been dismissed.
