The Arrest of Irakli Kakabadze Shows Signs of the Criminal Law Crime

The arrest of Irakli Kakabadze shows the signs of the criminal law crime. As the “Interpressnews” was informed from the public defender’s office, the public defender transferred the material regarding this issue to the main procurator of Georgia.
On August 14 of the current year, the representative of the public defender received the explanation of Irakli Kakabadze. According to his explanation, on August 14, 19:00, in Tbilisi, at George Bush St, the protest rally took place, in the frameworks of which, the poets were asking for the change of the street name.
According to the explanation, the legal officers went to the protest rally and detained the participants.
Later, the detained were removed to the yard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they were held for two hours. During this period, the chief of the Main Department of Tbilisi and Mtskheta-Mtianeti Patrol, Giorgi Gegechkori and his assistant came and verbally and physically assaulted Irakli Kakabadze. Afterwards, Irakli Kakabadze felt bad and was still feeling bad while giving the explanation.
According to the report prepared in the Tbilisi #2 temporary isolator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the public defender representative, Irakli Kakabadze has injuries in the area of right shoulder. The fact of injuries is confirmed by the external inspection report of the temporal isolator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The report of the public defender representative indicates that according to Irakli Kakabadze’s explanations, he received these injuries in the yard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
