The former teachers of Kvemo Bodbe and Tsnori #3 public school addressed the Court

The former teachers of village Kvemo Bodbe and Tsnori #3 public school of Signagi region, addressed Signagi Regional Court with the request of their job renewal. The legal assistance for dismissed teacher was provided by the Human Rights Center Kakheti Office.

As the Kakheti coordinator of the Human Rights Defending Organization Gela Mtivlishvili noted,  school principals violated the requirements established by Georgian Constitution, Labor Code, General Administrative Code, Georgian Law on General Education, Labor Agreements and European Social Charter.

As a reminder, starting from August 1 till August 25th, more than 300 teachers have been fired from public schools of Kakheti region. 247 applications of dismissed teachers have been filed in Kakheti Human Rights Office with the request of assistance.
